As stations adapt to going largely cashless, some LU managers have taken the opportunity to provide feedback about how good it is that there are fewer homeless people hanging around ticket halls.

As Tubeworker has said previously, unless begging is disruptive or passengers are at risk of being robbed, it isn't our job to tell them to shove off. And now in a time of crisis, with thousands of people at risk in their jobs and with the situation for the poor only likely to get worse, it is extremely crass to welcome some of the most vulnerable struggling even more.
