Zimbabwean socialists face jail

Submitted by Matthew on 22 February, 2012 - 9:59

The Zimbabwean state is prosecuting a group of socialist, trade union, student and human rights activists (many of them members of the International Socialist Organisation of Zimbabwe) for treason.

Despite lack of evidence, the magistrate, acting as a tool of Robert Mugabe’s regime, has refused a request to dismiss the case. This means that the comrades may soon face jail. Send solidarity messages to iso.zim@gmail.com

Solidarity protest: Stop the treason trial! Free the Zimbabwean socialists!
