Below is a list of schools in Brighton where the Teaching Assistants have taken strike action against proposed cuts in their terms and conditions.
These people are mostly part time women workers on very low pay. Messages of support can be sent direct to the schools is the form of Christmas cards or emails.
The next day of strike action is set for 6 January. GMB reps are consulting on whether to extend the strike to other workers across the council.
There is an urgent need for financial assistance to help them maintain their action. please make any cheques payable to “GMB B50 Branch”.
